GENERAL FAQ: QUANT UX CON
How do I get register for Quant UX Con?
Register here (coming in Fall 2025), or if you're not ready to register, sign up here for email announcements. Is It Live or Online?
Quant UX Con 2025 occurs live online on the RingCentral Events platform (formerly known as Hopin). It will also be live at community watch parties in various cities around the world, thanks to our watch party hosts! (Find watch party details here.)
Wait! There are sessions at all hours, and I'll miss some!
No problem. We record all sessions and make them available the same day. Every registration ticket includes access to the recorded sessions for 12 months.
What is a "Follow-the-sun" Schedule?
There will be 4 separate blocks of time. Each block of time is successive -- not overlapping the previous one -- and occurs at a time convenient for a particular global region. When you view the event, sessions will appear in the time zone for your location. Anyone may attend any session in any time block, anywhere; or watch recordings later.
How Much Does It Cost?
Quant UX Con tickets are $125 USD. This includes all events and time zones, 110+ presentations, and allows you to view the post-conference recordings for 12 months. Can’t pay? Student and scholarship tickets are available for free to anyone as needed.
For classes, see an individual class for pricing options.
How do you set ticket prices?
The price reflects our total costs, including the streaming platform, number of sessions, attendees, recording storage, and administrative costs. Quant UX Con is committed to being affordable, and free scholarship tickets for the conference are available for anyone who needs one. In-person and online classes do not have scholarship tickets; please visit the Conference and Conference Archives instead. The Quant UX Association is a nonprofit educational organization, US 501(c)(3). The Quant UX Association operates Quant UX Con, training classes, and other events to fulfill its educational mission for the UX community.
If I attend a Watch Party, Do I Also Need to Register for the Conference?
Sign up with the watch party organizers, so they will expect you. See here for watch party details. Additionally, we recommend registering for the event on RingCentral Events. Although it is not required to register to attend a watch party, registration has many benefits. You can watch sessions before, during, and after the watch party, and view recordings of sessions for 12 months after the conference. Also, you'll be on our list for information about the conference in the future.
QUANT UX CON & ONLINE CLASSES:
FAQ for TICKETS, RECEIPTS, and ATTENDANCE
7. I bought a ticket, but now I can't log in. What do I do?
For Quant UX Con: Search your email for the subject line: "Thank you for registering to Quant UX Con". That email has a personal, unique link to your ticket. If that fails, join us at the event site on June 12 and claim a scholarship (free) ticket if needed. There is no need to pay again. Still not working? Try the same steps using a different browser.
For Online classes: Search your email for the subject line: "Thank you for registering to" ... and the name of the class. That email has a personal, unique link to your ticket. The system will also send reminders 1 day and 1 hour before the event. Check your spam folder if necessary. Still not working? Try the same steps using a different browser.
For In person classes: Search your email for the subject "Ticketstripe: Order details enclosed" for your receipt. For other information including arrival instructions, search for email from the "Quant UX Association" or the name of the class. Contact us at info@quantuxa.org if needed.
8. I need a receipt with VAT or some other specific information.
There are two options to get a more detailed receipt or invoice for Quant UX Con or a training class:
Receipt with additional information: For online events and classes, search your email for a message titled, "Your Quantitative User Experience Association receipt", save it to PDF, and then annotate it with the additional information you need. For in-person classes, search for a message titled, "Ticketstripe: Order details enclosed". Find additional details on annotating receipts here. (As for VAT in the EU, the Quant UX Association's revenues are far below the threshold for VAT registration (reference). Thus, the Association does not have a VAT registration number.)
Customized Invoice to go with your receipt:
A. First, find and save your receipt as above. Copy the receipt number from it. For online events with RingCentral, the receipt number will be 8 digits similar to "#0000-0000". For in-person classes with TicketStripe the receipt confirmation number is a long numeric code, such as "123456781234567812345"). That receipt number matches your proof and our records of your payment.
B. After you have found the receipt/confirmation number, use the following link to generate a paired invoice that includes that receipt number: invoice creation form. After you complete this form, you will receive a detailed PDF invoice by email. (Note: as for VAT in the EU, the Quant UX Association's revenues are far below the threshold for VAT registration (reference). Thus, the Association does not have a VAT registration number.)
9. I have a ticket, now what?
Go to the event as noted on your ticket above (FAQ #7). Review the schedule times in your local time zone, and join the conference when it is time!
10. I'm a speaker, what do I do?
The two important points for speakers are: (1) be sure to register in advance for the event on RingCentral; you'll need that to be able to log in. (2) show up 1 hour before your presentation and join the "Speaker Check-In" session that will be prominently displayed. For more details, search your email for messages from "Quant UX Conference" and you'll find specific emails for speakers. But if you simply register and show up to the check-in session with slides -- an hour in advance -- you'll be in good shape.
11. How do I access recorded sessions?
Recorded sessions are available to everyone who registers for Quant UX Con. Recordings are available for 12 months. To view them after the conference (or after it begins), visit the "Replay" area of the event on RingCentral to access recordings of Quant UX Con 2024 until June 10, 2025. 12. Can I register and watch the recordings after the event?
For Quant UX Con 2024, recordings of the presentations will be available for 12 months. You can register after the conference at the event site on RingCentral. However, for new registrations who sign up after the event ends, only paid tickets are available.
